"海运订舱网“近日收到COSCO-CS（中远海集运）船公司通知：

根据印度政府的相关通告，自2017年7月1日起，印度将实行各邦统一的GST税制（The Good and Services Tax）代替原有的服务税、增值税、消费税等。

GST的税率大致分为四档：5%，12%，18%，28%。

运费适用税率为5%，但对船东和代理来说是代收代付税金。

进出口印度服务费用的税率为18%，包括码头装卸费用，内陆运输费用等本地费用，GST也将取代此前15%的印度服务税。

具体细节如下：

Dear All                                          

You may be aware about the Goods and Service tax (GST)  likely to be implemented from 1st July 2017.

All are here by requested to deeply consider the following points on a war footing basis to be carried out for timely update in syscon system.

1)Its Mandatory to close the books of accounts on a Monthly basis. As per the GST Norms.

2)No Back dated entries will be allowed.

3)Invoice Serial No Mandatory to be uploaded in GST Site.

4)No Cancellation / Deletion / Editing of Invoice is allowed. Any adjustment to be followed by Debit Note / Credit Note. with ref to the original Invoice No.

5)Prepare/Generate all the Invoices pending if any to be updated in the System before 30thJune 2017 since Invoice date 01st July17 GST will be applicable.

6)Submit all the Vendor Invoice / Port Invoice / Transportation Invoice / CHA Invoice / Custom Clearance Invoices to accounts dept for payment to be update in

syscon system and avail all the Input Credit of Service Tax. Before 05th July 2017.

7)Branch Reconciliation to be done on a Monthly basis. ( All Location please coordinate with HO Mumbai and reconcile the same).

8)Bank Reconciliation to be done on a Monthly basis.(All Location pls send the bank reconciliation of the respective branch by 05th of the month).

9)Port Reconciliation to be done on a Monthly basis. (All Location pls send the Port reconciliation of the respective branch by 05th of the month).

10)Monthly submitting the Vessel Freight Tax details to the DIT (Dept of International Taxation).

11)All Admin releated expenses / Payment to be received by accounts dept by 05th July 2017. (It includes all branches).

12)Any Pending Dispute in our Invoice or Vendor Invoice to be cleared sorted out before 30thJune 2017.

13)Any other points during the course of action will be intimated as and when require.
