据“海运订舱网”之前报道，今年1月初的时候，以星航运（ZIM）发布了首席执行官Rafi Danieli的辞职报告。3月9日，ZIM正式任命Eli Glickman为公司新的首席执行官。并表示，Eli Glickman将接替Rafi Danieli的职位，于7月份上任。

My predecessor, Rafi Danieli, has steered ZIM through rough seas, and leaves behind an impressive legacy. We all wish him the very best.

I have met with many of ZIM’s professionals in the past three months, and I am confident in our ability to continue delivering exceptional service with outstanding results. ZIM, like the entire industry, has weathered substantial transformations in recent years, and today stands as a top industry performer, dedicated to improved profitability.

This remarkable achievement is due to two core strategies: First, directing our efforts, resources, and expertise to become a service and sales leader, as well as a truly customer-oriented company. We constantly focus on customers’ needs, which stand at the heart of all our decisions. Second, leveraging "the power of being independent" by positioning ZIM as an independent global niche carrier with new ocean networks. 现年55岁的Eli Glickman，此前为以色列电气公司首席执行官，也曾在物流公司担任过高管，但这是其首次涉足航运企业。

2016年底，以星航运前任首席执行官Rafi Danieli方才制定了一项公司发展计划，将区域航线市场作为发展重点，在联盟之外寻找最合适的角色。现在，这项策略可能会因Eli Glickman的上任而终止。

2014年在需求低迷及运力过剩的情况下，Danieli做出退出亚欧航线的决定，使公司在2015年第三季度获得盈利。

Rafi Danieli在辞职声明中表示：“在他（Rafi Danieli）任职期间，公司从经营亏损到盈利，以星航运盈利水平超过行业平均水平。”

Rafi Danieli于1984年加入以星航运，作为融资经理对公司当时的重组起到关键作用；1989年开始负责公司战略规划；1990-1994年，Danieli担任以星南非公司经理；随后成为特殊项目副总裁；1996年被任命为首席财务官；2006年升职为公司副总裁。
