MSC Announcement: TP Trade CUC, Chassis and Container Per Diem -- w.e.f. 01-November-2020
Dear Customers,
Please kindly take noteon the new charge implementation effective November 1st, 2020.
Wheneverthe ocean carrier supplies a chassis for the movement of the container -whether under carrier or merchant arranged haulage by road or rail - a chassisusage charge shall apply to all shipments that are destined to, or passingthrough the United States for which a Carrier provided standard chassis withnot more than 2 axles.
CHASSIS USAGE CHARGE – CUC
A) Chassis Usage Charge(CUC) for the standard free time period use.
SCOPE: IMPORT TO USA FOR CARGO EX FAR EAST
US West Coast (ExcludingIPI):

PER DIEM - CONTAINER RENTAL CHARGE
Effective November1st, 2020
SCOPE: IMPORT WORLDWIDE TO USA AND EXPORT FROM USA TOWORLDWIDE
Afterthe expiration of the free time, the per diem charges for the use of thecarrier’s container (full or empty) outside of the marine terminal, or railroad, or container yard facilities and until the container is returned to thecarrier’s custody at the carrier’s designated place of return, will becalculated as set below.
