Import Demurrage Quote and Payments at APMT Los Angeles

Dear Valued Customer,

APL appreciates the opportunity to handle your import cargo via APMT Los Angeles terminal.  As a continuous effort to digitize our current processes for higher efficiencies, we are proud to offer the online payment center and shipment tracking tool via APL's HomePort application.  We would like to inform you of the new standard method for import demurrage quotes and payments via APL's HomePort application effective, December 4, 2017:

• Demurrage payments via credit card may be made conveniently online by using APL's demurrage payment tool available through www.apl.com.Please visit the HomePort site for information and registration: http://www.apl.com/wps/portal/apl/apl-home/etools/homeport.

• Demurrage quotes are also available through APL's HomePort site.  Please use the Tracking and Shipments channel of HomePort for last free day and demurrage information.

• Email correspondence should be directed to inbound.demurrage@apl.com for response and resolution.

• Phone inquiries for demurrage at the above-referenced locations can also be directed to APL's Long Beach office at 562-624-5663.

• Check payment of demurrage charges incurred at the Southern California ocean terminals, San Diego, Phoenix or Salt Lake City should be sent to American President Lines, Attn: Demurrage Desk, 180 E Ocean Blvd, Suite 800, Long Beach, CA 90802.
